Well the project for the week was to pick out a picture and “erase” an item from the picture. I chose the Chicago skyline because I love Chicago. I was born in the south side and lived in Chicago until i was five. I continued to live in and around the suburbs of Chicago all my life. The skyline is, I think, the most beautiful sight you can see. I especially love the skyline at sundown, when you can see the sun setting on the city. In my picture, I removed one of the most notable, if not, the most notable building in Chicago. Can you see which one it is?

The project for this week was to find a piece of original art, photoshop it, and send it to someone else. Said person would add on and then send it back to you for you to add more. This process happened about five times, but you can go more or less if you really wanted to. My partner was Leo and the piece we chose to edit was American Gothic. I find this painting to be rather bland, so I am really happy that it came so much more colorful. I seriously love the space invaders motif. Without further ado, I present Leo’s and my version of American Gothic.

The assignment for this week was to recreate a famous piece of artwork on photoshop. The piece I chose was The Scream. I really like The Scream because its just so creepy looking. I also like it because it makes me wonder what he/she is screaming about. I really don’t know much about the artist, other than the fact that his name is Edvard Munch, but I really like this piece which is why I chose to remake it. I really don’t have much else to say, so I’m just going to post the pictures (the first is mine, the second is the original).

New Shoes?

Hey, what’s up? My name is Michael and this is my first time blogging. I don’t really know what to write about, but I have been thinking about getting new shoes. I like running shoes like Pumas, but my feet are usually too wide for that style. I have found these awesome shoes called Five Fingers from an Italian brand called Vibram. I attached a photo, but I don’t know if i uploaded it correctly. Anyway, I like these shoes because they don’t really have any shape too them. They stretch to fit and are made to feel like you’re not even wearing shoes. They protect against harsh footing and have very good grip, which I think will be necessary because I want to start doing parkour. Well that’s all I really have to say for now and thanks for taking time to read my stuff.
